[How To] Add Friends on Steam!

I've seen some posts saying that you can't add friends on Steam and I'm going to make a little guide.

Method one:
Step one:
Go to your Steam launcher -> Friends -> Add a friend ...
Step two:
Ask everyone on the clan to give you their email adress.
Step three:
Paste theirs email adress into step one.
Step four:
Wait till they add you to their friends list.

Method two:
Step one:
Repeat everything from method one, only asking them to give you theirs account name ( doesnt work with nicknames! ).

I hope this works for you guys.

Well,this is impossible for me cause steam says that I have to buy games befor eunlocking this(in fact,having f2p games such as TF2 doesen't work)

Same for me,but,can i unlock adding friends and others by getting a premium account on TF2?
